Report: Dolphins LT Terron Armstead expected to play in 2024
Mark Konezny-USA TODAY Sports

Dolphins left tackle Terron Armstead is expected to return for the 2024 season, the Miami Herald reported on Wednesday.

Armstead, 32, missed four games last season on injured reserve with a knee injury and was inactive for three other contests dealing with knee, ankle, back and quad issues. Still, he was named to the Pro Bowl for the fifth time in the past six seasons.

Armstead has not made any public comment about committing to his 12th NFL season, saying in mid-January, "I never make any decisions right after the season, I always take my time. Talk to God, let him order my steps, talk to my kids. That's been my approach the past three offseasons. It'll be the same approach."

Armstead signed a five-year, $75 million deal with Miami in 2022. Five million of his 2024 compensation already is guaranteed, and the remaining $8.25 million becomes guaranteed in mid-March.

Armstead has started 116 of his 120 games with the Dolphins (2022-23) and New Orleans Saints (2013-21), who drafted him in the third round in 2013.
