According to Jason Cole of Yahoo Sports, the Miami Dolphins still haven’t expressed any interest in Packers back up quarterback Matt Flynn, who’ll hit the free agent market on March 13th.

A source told Cole that Dolphins owner Stephen Ross is having general manager Jeff Ireland focus completely on trying to land Peyton Manning, which has taken their focus off of any other player at this point.

We’ll see if the Dolphins show interest in Flynn, if they end up losing the Manning Mania sweepstakes.

Aaron Rodgers surprises Miss America at Bucks game

Miss America finally got her chance to meet one of the NFL's most talented quarterbacks. When former Miss Wisconsin Laura Kaeppeler was introduced during the nationally-televised Miss America pageant in January, she gave a shout out to the Green Bay Packers and quarterback Aaron Rodgers. After she won the crown and attended the Super Bowl in Indianapolis, fans and reporters...

Green Bay Packers draft: mocking the first couple picks

The Green Bay Packers led the NFL in passing yards allowed last season. Therefore, they’re going to focus on DBs and and pass-rushers first and foremost in the 2012 NFL draft right? Not so fast my friend. What about a tight end if Jermichael Finley leaves? What about the running back situation? Then we must consider the fact that Ted Thompson is as much a “value GM” as there...

Miss America finally meets Mr. (Aaron) Rodgers

Miss America Laura Kaeppeler showed off her considerable talents by signing the national anthem prior to Milwakee Bucks' home game on Monday Night. The former Miss Wisconsin then retreated to her guest suite at the Bradley Center before receiving an unexpected knock at the door. Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers greeted her and shared a few moments during the intermission...

Packers still interested in Grant

The Green Bay Packers are interested in bringing free agent running back Ryan Grant but not till they let him test the market. His agent, Alan Herman, thinks that a market will setup back for the back but he’s not sure what that will bring for his client. “He will hit free agency,” Herman said Tuesday. “But they gave us an indication they would like to have him back. I have...

The right play: Miami Dolphins and Peyton Manning need each other

Coming Soon to the Physical World As a Jets fan, the thought of Brady and Manning in-division is an unpleasant one. I’m also convinced it’s coming. The stars are simply too well-aligned. It makes perfect sense for Manning. It makes perfect sense for the Miami Dolphins. Anyone trying to convince me otherwise, is going to have a tough time. Here are five reasons why Manning will...

NFL rewind: Brett Favre 3 games, 3 INTs, 3 retirements

Brett Favre.  Perhaps his greatest strength was his greatest weakness.  In a survival of the fittest like tactic from the days of the Wild West, for 20 years Favre brought his gunslinger mentality to various cities throughout the NFL.  Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn’t, but the fact of the matter remains that when Favre

Jimmy Johnson thinks Peyton Manning will sign with the Dolphins

On Thursday, former NFL head coach Jimmy Johnson stated that it looks like Peyton Manning will sign with the Miami Dolphins. Johnson tweeted, “Everything points to Manning signing with Miami..both sides want it..perfect fit!” Johnson did coach the Dolphins back in the 90′s and likely has plenty of sources that have told him Manning will sign with them. For now, we’ll have...

NFL Draft Medical Report: Jared Crick, DT, Nebraska

Past drafts are littered with players like former Green Bay Packer defensive tackle Justin Harrell. A slightly undersized and injury prone defensive lineman, the Packers drafted him in the first round in the 2007 draft. Harrell unquestionably had a good deal of talent, but he only played in two games his senior year, raising some serious red flags. In his four years in the NFL Harrell...
