According to Reuben Frank of CSNPhilly.com, the Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns have been talking all the time and they’ve discussed a trade for the fourth overall pick.

Right now though, the chances of the Eagles trading up from the 15th pick to the 4th pick are very slim.

At the end of the day, I really don’t believe that the Eagles are very serious about trading up.  I think they have been talking to the Browns, so they can see if a deal can get done, but they’re not willing to do anything to get it done.

2012 NFL Draft: Philadelphia Eagles Trading Up? Track Record Not So Hot

Mary Kay Cabot, of the Plain Dealer in Cleveland, reported that the Philadelphia Eagles are one of four teams interested in trading up to the No. 4 overall pick in the 2012 NFL draft. Not to discredit Cabot, who’s reputation is solid, but it seems awfully convenient that the report comes out of Cleveland.  The Browns, as you may know, are the holders of the No. 4 pick. Someone...

Eagles 2012 Draft Prospect: Florida Running Back Chris Rainey

The Eagles have tried to use Chad Hall as a hybrid type of player in their offense. University of Florida running back Chris Rainey projects to have the same type of role in the NFL and the Eagles seem to think he could be an option for them, bringing Rainey in for a private workout. At 5-8 and 180 pounds, Rainey is by no means a big guy. Chad Hall actually has seven pounds on...

NFL Draft Rumor: Browns and Eagles talking deal?

A rumor sourced to Tony Grossi all over Twitter indicates that the trade winds are blowing as we move closer to the draft. The meat of the rumor has the Eagles looking to move up to #4 presumably to take Ryan Tannehill. The Eagles have the 15th pick in the draft and also numbers 46 and 51 in the second round. For the Browns, it takes them out of the running for guys like Richardson...

Philadelphia Eagles 2012 Draft: Pot Smoking Baby Daddy Visiting Eagles Monday

Troubled 2012 NFL draft prospect CB Janoris Jenkins is scheduled to meet with the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday, according to Ralph Vacchiano or the New York Daily News. Photo: articles.orlandosentinel.com Based on just his skill level, most draft scouts have Jenkins rated as a first-round caliber cornerback in this year’s draft.  However, it’s his off-the-field issues that...

NFL Draft: Of misdirection and mocks…

Hey! Come to our draft party! We are getting closer and closer to the NFL draft and it is officially time to believe everything and nothing. The Browns will draft Ryan Tannehill. The Browns will draft Matt Kalil. The Browns will trade the pick to Miami or Philadelphia. The Browns have to draft an offensive player. Well, on second thought they could draft Morris Claiborne. The fact...

Report: “Little Chance” Eagles Will Trade Up to #4 in the Draft

Speculation about the intentions of the Philadelphia Eagles in this year’s draft have been running amok for months. And the team knows just how to keep us all guessing. Meeting with Robert Griffin III at the NFL Combine. Hosting a number of quarterbacks for pre-draft visits. And per a report on Saturday, making an inquiry with the Cleveland Browns about trading up to the number...

Report: Eagles will likely draft a quarterback early

According to Dan Pompei of the National Football Post, the Philadelphia Eagles will likely draft a quarterback early in this year’s draft.  If they can’t get Ryan Tannehill they might go after either Brandon Weeden or Kirk Cousins in the second round. This is clearly a sign the Eagles aren’t confident in Michael Vick’s durability and let’s face it, he’s going to be 32...

Cleveland Browns should build a roof and plan for Super Bowl L

According to PFT, the San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys will both be bidding to host Super Bowl L in 2016. For those who aren’t good with Roman numerals, that means Super Bowl 50. We all know that the Browns have never appeared in a Super Bowl or hosted one. While we can’t guarantee that the Browns will ever compete in a Super Bowl, recent history with Indianapolis...

The Philadelphia Eagles’ Course Correction May Yield Huge Results

Last year was supposed to be the year for the Philadelphia Eagles. You had to feel good about it. After watching other teams scoop free agents and add big name talent for years, the Eagles organization stepped out of character and went on a spending free, seemingly gobbling up every big name available. Then something went horribly awry. A team that was already facing a lookout shortened...
