Report: Eagles DE/DT Victor Abiamiri Has Ruptured Achilles

bleed-green.com Back in 2007, the Philadelphia Eagles used their second round pick to take Notre Dame defensive end Victor Abiamiri. We all thought it was a solid pick for the most part, but unfortunately no one can ever predict the future. Abiamiri has not been lucky, and has been unable to stay healthy. According to Paul Domowitch of the Philadelphia Daily News, Rick Burkholder refused to answer reporters questions regarding Abiamiri. Shortly after, 610 WIP's Howard Eskin tweeted that Abiamiri has a torn ACL, which turned out to be false. It always is sad to see players bitten by the injury bug. Certain guys just cannot stay healthy and Victor Abiamiri is unfortunately one of those guys. It brings back memories of Jerome McDougle. Maybe it has something to do with the number 95?
