According to Jason LaCanfora of the NFL Network, the Philadelphia Eagles will likely place the franchise tag on wide receiver DeSean Jackson and look to trade him. If the Eagles can’t get fair market value for Jackson he’ll likely be back for next season to prove whether or not they should sign him to a long term deal. Looks like the Eagles would be fine with moving on from Jackson with guys like Riley Cooper and Jeremy Maclin on the team that could pick up the slack.  That’s of course if they’re able to work out a fair deal to trade him.
