A television station in Mobile, Alabama, is reporting that former Bengals defensive end Antwan Odom was arrested for possession of marijuana after a traffic stop in Alabama.
WKRG-TV reports that the 30-year-old Odom was arrested during a traffic stop on I-10 after authorities said he smelled of marijuana, and police said they found a gun and two blunts in his possession.
Odom had eight sacks in six games with the Bengals in 2009 before rupturing his Achilles. Injuries and a suspension under the league’s anti-doping policy limited him to four games in 2010. The Bengals released Odom in July of this year.
Odom’s home in Mason was heavily damaged by a fire in March.
