Minnesota fans may be having a tough time letting go of the fact the New Orleans Saints' win against the Vikings in the NFC Championship Game two-plus years ago was bounty-enhanced, but Brett Favre is not. In fact, the former Vikings quarterback who was roughed up badly by the Saints in the game and was later found to be a target of that bounty program told NFL Network's Deion Sanders on Friday that he hasn't spent a lot of time thinking about whether the Saints skirted the rules on the way to his blind side. "My feeling, and I mean this wholeheartedly, is I really don't care," he said. "What bothers me is we didn't win the game." During that 31-28 overtime loss, Favre was hit multiple times and played through a fairly severe ankle injury suffered late in the game. Putting a price on his head, however, didn't cost him his ironman reputation, and he's proud of that. "They didn't take me out of the game," Favre told Sanders. "They came close, but a lot of people have come close. I'm too stubborn to come out. Plus, that was kind of a big game. I'm not going to sit the last three minutes. I'm going to go out there with bone sticking out of my skin and I'm going to finish it. I'm just upset we didn't win."
