Found May 07, 2013 on NFL Trade Rumors:
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Philadelphia Eagles brought in former Cowboys RB Felix Jones for a workout on Tuesday. Jones, a former first-round pick, has found almost no interest on the open market this offseason. He did visit with the Bengals back in April, but they chose to draft Giovanni Bernard out of North Carolina in the second-round of the recent draft. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones previously mentioned that he’s open to re-signing Jones, but there’s been no indication that this is still something that the team is considering. As for the Eagles, they currently have LeSean McCoy and Bryce Brown as their top-two running backs as they head into training camp. They also signed undrafted RB Miguel Maysonet in recent weeks, so this could be them doing their due diligence regarding available free agents. We have Jones listed as the No. 15 player in our Best Available Free Agents list. The post Report: Felix Jones Works Out For The Eagles appeared first on NFL Trade Rumors -.

Felix Jones Visiting with the Patriots

The New England Patriots might have Stevan Ridley, Shane Vereen, Brandon Bolden, LeGarrette Blount and Leon Washington to make up their running back corps—but you can always improve. The way that I look at it: You can never have enough running backs. Much like baseball, in which you can never have enough pitchers, I believe that you can never have enough running backs in football...
