Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Mike Wallace signed a 5-year, $60 million contract with the Miami Dolphins that included $27 million guaranteed at the start of the free agency signing period, but apparently he left some money on the table.
According to Adam Beasely of the Miami Herald, the Minnesota Vikings offered him more money.
Wallace's dad, Mike Jr., said "The [Vikings] had come to the point where they were telling him, ‘You don't have to live here, just be here during the season.' He wanted to get out of that snow and cold weather."
