It looks like the New York Jets will move on from one washed up veteran running back to another. Now that LaDanian Tomlinson is done in New York, the Jets seem to be interested in former Dolphins and Eagles running back Ronnie Brown, according to Rich Cimini of ESPNNewYork.com.

Brown knows offensive coordinator Tony Sparano’s offense very well from playing in it when he was with the Dolphins, which is an advantage for him if he signs with the Jets.

The question is, does Brown have any football left in him at the age of 30? I guess we’ll soon find out.

Mike Tannenbaum’s Career As New York Jets GM: Part 1, The Mangini Years

New York Jets General Manger Mike Tannenbaum deserves a large share of the credit for the New York Jets being a playoff team in 2006, 2009 and 2010. He also deserves a large share of the credit for the Jets missing the playoffs in 2007, 2008, and 2011. Since taking over as GM, the Jets have been a .500 or better team in 5 of 6 seasons but have only made the playoffs half of the...

Tomlinson: Sanchez would bolt if Jets reel in Manning

The New York Jets are among the teams expected to make a play for Peyton Manning. If that happens, one former member of the team said Jets quarterback would ask the team to release him. Running back LaDainian Tomlinson, who completed his two-year contract with New York in January, told the NFL Network that he didn't think the arrival of Manning would sit well with Sanchez....

After playing for the New York Jets for the past couple of seasons, running back LaDainian Tomlinson believes free agent quarterback Peyton Manning would be a good fit with the Jets. “This is a good fit for him,” Tomlinson said today on NFL Network per the Newark Star-Ledger. “The Jets already have a very good offensive line, a good receiving corps – obviously headed by Santonio...

Just hours after learning that the Indianapolis Colts would part ways with QB Peyton Manning, a New York Jets player told the New York Daily News that Manning “needs to be a Jet.” Of course, this is not the first time Peyton Manning has been rumored to be linked to the New York Jets as a possible destination. If Peyton Manning is indeed healthy, there will be several...

Antonio Cromartie and Travis Henry better watch out. Michael Turner’s coming at them with a vengeance. Roger Goodell and Peter King can check their fake indignation. No bounties are involved unless one counts child support. Police were called to Turner’s house after his current girlfriend attacked his baby mama with a move that would have made Elin Woods proud. According to...

McClain to follow in Bart Scott’s foot steps?

Will Jameel McClain do what former Ravens inside linebacker Bart Scott did in the 2009 offseason and ship up I-95 to join his former defensive coordinator, Rex Ryan? McClain, 26, played under Ryan in his rookie in 2008 before Ryan left to become the head coach of the New York Jets. Scott, who followed Ryan [...]

Chad the Mentor

Former Jets quarterback Chad Pennington has been working with Mark Sanchez during throwing sessions this offseason.

GARTH: Rest Miller?

I'd give the Sabre an A+ grade for their recent 3-1-1 road trip. 7 outta 10 points is a nice haul for the team. The Jets presented the only spped bump for the Sabres on the final night of the trip. Running a "hard hockey" gauntlet against the Rangers, Ducks, Sharks, Canucks and Jets in six nights is enough to deplete any NHL squad. Its understandable that the...
