While veteran wide receiver Randy Moss reportedly turned in an impressive workout for the New Orleans Saints on Tuesday, it didn't pique the curiosity of the New York Jets.
ESPN New York, citing sources, said the Jets have zero interest in the mercurial Moss, who is attempting a comeback after retiring and taking last season off.
The website reported that the Jets had enough locker room issues last season and would be hesitant to bring in a personality such as Moss, even though they are seeking a wideout to replace Plaxico Burress. The 35-year-old reportedly ran the 40-yard dash in the 4.39 to 4.4 second range and is being described as more impressive than anticipated and in great shape by league sources.
Moss is planning to workout for multiple teams in his attempt to come out of retirement over the next few weeks.
The six-time Pro Bowler last played for the Tennessee Titans in 2010 and finished the season with career lows in receptions and receiving yards.

The Jets are actually being smart for once when it comes to big name free agents. It’s about time they realize that a guy like Moss could only make things worse for their football team, rather than better.
