Pro Football Zone:
According to ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio via NFL.com, New York Jets general manager John idzik is keeping his options open and may be open to trading down in the first round.
“I think the real substantive talks will come tomorrow,” Idzik said Wednesday, according to ESPN.com’s Sal Paolantonio. “I think we’re in a position at No. 9 and No. 13 in the first round to get two really good players, but it also opens up the gates for potential alternatives, potentially trading down and picking up more players. We’ll be open minded about it. This is a very deep draft.”
The Jets could certainly use more picks. It might not be a bad idea to trade either the 9th or 13th pick. Meanwhile they would still have one first round pick to use.

The New Yorks Jets traded away Darrelle Revis prior to the draft, leaving the Jets with an obvious need at corner back. Pressure will be very high on Milliner to fill Revis’s shoes, but he could very well be the guy that can do it.

It's funny writing about the NFL Draft. There's two sides to the equation and you can't really take both and talk about all the possibilities without pumping out an essay that people lose interest in half way through. It's you write about what the Jets should do, or what the Jets will probably do.Part 1 of this article (discussing the Jets ninth overall selection...
According to PhillyMag.com, ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio told 97.5 The Fanatic in Philly that the Eagles will likely use the fourth overall pick on an offensive tackle or West Virginia wide receiver Tavon Austin.
“Here is what a general manager told me [on Monday]: ‘I know the Eagles want a tackle.’ And if those are all gone, he said, ‘Don’t be shocked if Chip Kelly takes Tavon...

We were about two-thirds of the way through our Team Blogger Mock Draft when the trade between Tampa Bay and the New York Jets illustrated the complete futility of the effort by making a trade that made it obsolete.

Cornerback Darelle Revis is now a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after being traded from the New York Jets in exchange for multiple draft picks. While some people may question whether or not this trade works for either side, I'm on the side that says it does work. It's good for the Jets because they get something in return for arguably the best corner in the league....
ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio reported on SportsCenter this morning that Jets OC Marty Mornhinweg is “very high” on Syracuse QB Ryan Nassib.
Paolantonio adds that the Bills are reportedly concerned that the Jets could take Nassib ahead of them at some point in the first two-rounds.
“The Buffalo Bills want Ryan Nassib,” said Paolantonio. “But they’re very concerned the Jets...
