According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, it sounds like rookie wide receiver Justin Blackmon will lose some bonus money with his first NFL contract from the Jacksonville Jaguars. He’ll likely receive a “smaller and deferred signing bonus,” which equates to less guaranteed money.
This isn’t a surprise, since Blackmon has now been arrested for DUI for the second time in two years and the Jaguars need to protect themselves.
