According to Dan Arkush of ProFootballWeekly.com, quarterback Kevin Kolb’s days could be numbered as a member of the Arizona Cardinals.“The way we hear it, unless Kolb can make a Kurt Warner-type comeback in a starting role down the stretch that spearheads a trip to the playoffs — which probably won’t happen if fellow QB John Skelton gets the job done adequately in Kolb’s absence over the next 6-8 weeks — the odds of him remaining a Redbird aren’t real good,” wrote Arkush.“Under his current deal, he’s set to make $9 million next season and will also be due a $2 million roster bonus,” said a Cardinals insider, per Arkush. “I don’t know if they’ll be willing to pay that kind of money. They could certainly restructure the deal, but right now, I don’t think they really know what they want to do.”Kolb has looked better this season, but he still hasn’t lived up to the six-year, $63.5 milloin deal he signed before last season. It also doesn’t help that he has one of the worst of

TEMPE, Ariz. Four weeks into the season, Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt was asked to evaluate his blossoming young linebacking corps.
Does that include young Paris Lenon? Whisenhunt asked with a smile.
Theres been a lot of discussion about the money the Cardinals spent to sign free-agent linebacker Stewart Bradley before the 2011 season. Theres been a lot of discussion of what...
John Skelton isn’t reminding anyone of Kurt Warner these days. Cardinals fans would settle for Matt Leinart at this point. I’m certainly not suggesting that Skelton should be in fantasy lineups, but don’t go crazy and bench Larry Fitzgerald.. First of all, he’s replacing Kevin Kolb. It’s not like the Cardinals are taking a huge step back. They are going from airplane food...
Before the season began, back when we were still polishing the dust of our crystal balls, did any of us see either the Vikings or the Cardinals having 4-2 records heading into Week 7?Come on now, don’t lie.I admit before the season began I made some jokes about Minnesota in my Fantasy Football team preview. I wish I could take them back. Really, I do.But the fact is the Vikings...
Arizona Cardinals (4-2) at Minnesota Vikings (4-2)
Wow. Who would have thought when these two teams met week 7, it would be a game of 4-2 teams with potential future playoff ramifications. In a year that has once again been full of surprises, these two are probably the league’s two most surprisingly good teams. However, as I’ve said all along, I believe one team is for real and...
John Skelton won a long, tight competition to become starting quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals, only to go down with a sprained ankle in the final minutes of the season opener.
Five games and another quarterback injury later, Skelton is starting again.
Kevin Kolb, who replaced Skelton in the opener and helped the Cardinals get off to a 4-0 start, is out indefinitely with rib...

SEAN DOWLING would seem a perfect fit for Mike Leach’s Air Raid offense featuring wide splits on the offensive line. The three-star offensive tackle prospect has very good feet, excels in pass blocking and is a very athletic 6-6, 265-pounds with room to pack on the bulk. And he officially visited Pullman this week. But...
Each week we analyze the match ups and provide our take on which Quarterbacks you should start and which should be sitting on your fantasy pine. We take several variables into account including matchups, injuries, potential weather problems, arrests, baby mama trouble, etc. On the injury front, Kevin Kolb will miss multiple weeks with a rib injury opening the door for John Skelton...
The Arizona Cardinals' suspect pass protection was partially responsible for the loss of their starting quarterback last week.
The injury to Kevin Kolb gives John Skelton another shot at QB.
Skelton takes over for the struggling Cardinals on Sunday when they visit the Minnesota Vikings, who are looking to open 4-0 at home.
Kolb, who assumed Arizona's starting quarterback...
