Last night Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune reported that unrestricted free agent running back Mike Tolbert was likely to land with the Pittsburgh Steelers or the Carolina Panthers and that Tolbert had a visit set up Saturday with an undisclosed team. Steelers: Nothing on the Horizon

The Steelers are rarely ever players in free agency. When reports arose that the Steelers were favorites to sign ex-Chargers running back Mike Tolbert it made sense. Why the Jaguars won't sign Mike Wallace

As many of you probably know, Mike Wallace is a restricted free agent. The Steelers and their fans love this guy, and they won't him to stay in Pittsburgh, but it's still possible for a team to swoop in and sign him.
