Veteran wide receiver Randy Moss contends that his return to the NFL isn't based on finances. "This is not about money for him, he wants to play," the source close to Moss told Yahoo! Sports. "He'll want to be paid if he makes the team, but nothing up front. He's not trying to grab a check." Moss announced that he intended to return to the NFL after announcing his retirement. The 35-year-old Moss has 954 receptions for 14,858 yards and 153 touchdowns in 13 NFL seasons. The 954 receptions are ninth on the NFL's all-time list, his yards are fifth and the touchdown total ties him for second in league history. He had career lows of 28 receptions for 393 yards in 2010. Moss began the campaign with New England, was traded to Minnesota and eventually joined Tennessee. In 2007, Moss joined New England and set an NFL record with 23 receiving touchdowns.
