It was reported last night that the Tennessee Titans are shopping wide receiver Nate Washington. According to TitanInsider.com, Washington says he’d rather be released then traded. With the Tennessee Titans entertaining the possibility of trading Nate Washington, a source with knowledge of the situation, indicated that the veteran wide receiver would prefer the Titans simply release him instead. Washington could not be reached for comment, and his agent Brian Overstreet declined to speak on the matter when contacted. But indications are that Washington was not happy about reports that emerged on Tuesday of the Titans potentially shopping him with two years still remaining on his contract.   Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; script.src = 'http://widget.crowdignite.com/widgets/27484?_ci_wid=_CI_widget_'+_CI.counter; script.async = true; ref.parentNode.insertBefore(script, ref); })();

Shonn Greene Signs With Tennessee Titans

Running back Shonn Greene has signed a three-year deal with the Tennessee Titans worth $10M. Fantasy Spin: The Titans were in the market for a power back to complement sparkplug Chris Johnson, but Greene was an odd choice as he is hardly an authority at moving the chains in the trenches, and plays smaller than his 511, 225-pound frame. As long as Johnson stays healthy, Greene should...

Tennessee Titans sign TE Delanie Walker

I really didn’t think anyone would sign Delanie Walker other than the 49ers. Because of his specific role in their system, he was more valuable to them as a 2nd tight end than to anyone else. Apparently the Titans disagreed as they outbid the 49ers for him and will pay him like a starter, giving him 4 years, 17.5 million with 8.6 million guaranteed. He’s a very good blocker,...

Rams reel in Jared Cook with a 5-year deal

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the St. Louis Rams have agreed to a five-year deal with former Titans tight end Jared Cook. This is a nice move by the Rams.  Cook was underutilized by the Titans last season and will see plenty of targets in St. Louis.   Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref...
