Pro Football Zone:
After kicking Texans quarterback Matt Schaub in the groin during yesterday’s game, Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh could end up getting suspended for one game.
According to Mike Freeman of CBS Sports, the NFL will review Suh’s kick on Monday and he could face a one-game suspension.
In speaking to sources around football, the general sentiment is that the Lions should take a stand against Suh’s dirty play, instead of waiting for the league to do so.
But since the Lions likely won’t, the NFL will review what was clearly a dirty shot when Suh kicked to the groin ofHouston quarterback Matt Schaub.
One league source estimated Suh could be suspended for one game. The source said that the NFL likely won’t give Suh the benefit of the doubt considering his past incidents.
But it should be made clear: the league has made no official decision and won’t start officially reviewing the incident until next week.
By looking at the image above, it certainly looks like Suh went...

DETROIT Turkey legs and an Ndamukong Suh foot Thanksgiving traditions.
A year ago, Suh the controversial defensive tackle for the Detroit Lions was in the spotlight when he stomped on Green Bay offensive lineman Evan Dietrich-Smith during the annual Thanksgiving Day game at Ford Field. It led to a two-game suspension.
This time, Suh kicked Houston quarterback Matt Schaub in...
ACCIDENT OR INTENTIONAL?
Since the Detroit Lions always play on Thanksgiving, I assumed that something Ndamukong Suh-related would hit this site today. In the first quarter of the Texans/Lions game, Suh was attempting to sack Texans quarterback Matt Schaub but didn't get to the quarterback in time. However, Suh (whether intentional or not) decided to kick low and landed a blow right to Matt Schaub...
Ndamukong Suh's foot that landed below the belt of Houston quarterback Matt Schaub in Thursday's game will be the subject of a review by the NFL. NFL executive vice president Ray Anderson will examine the evidence from the play and determine next week whether punitive action is needed against the Detroit Lions defensive lineman, NFL.com reported Friday. The incident took...
It’s Thanksgiving, and Ndamukong Suh is on the field. Today will not be the day to lay aside “dirty player” accusations. Suh rushed Houston quarterback Matt Schaub in Thursday afternoon’s game, and while he didn’t end up with the sack, his foot did end up in an unfortunate place — or fortunate, if Suh is trying to continue his tradition of questionable attacks — er...

> It's nice to see Ndamukong Suh keep up the Thanks- giving tradition of kicking an opponent and getting torched in the media
> My holiday is not good until I heard the officiating crew express their wishes, or until I see the Lions lose to a suspiciously good team
> Jim Nantz and Phil Simms have clearly never seen a QB throw the ball sidearm before...

Ndamukong Suh has done it again. After being kicked out of a Thanksgiving Day loss to the Packers last season for stomping on the arm of Packer lineman Evan Dietrich-Smith, Suh is in the spotlight this Thanksgiving for kicking Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub right in his “Thanksgiving Turkey.” Suh is often regarded as the [...]

The New England Patriots didn't start the 2012 season with much of a bang. For many, losses to the Ravens, Cardinals, and Seahawks looked to show the weaknesses of a team on its way down in the power rankings. To make matters worse, the defense appeared just as suspect as 2011, casting more doubt on their ability to compete against the best teams in the AFC. With Peyton Manning...
The NFL world was watching the Houston Texans face the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day this year and saw one of the most ridiculous rules in the league on display. RB Justin Forsett took a handoff from QB Matt Schaub and ran up the middle for seven yards. He was hit by a Lions defender spun to the ground with his elbow and knee touching. Not hearing a whistle, Forsett jumped back...
