After a long vacation, Rob Ryan has finally found a home.
The New Orleans Saints plan to hire Ryan, who was fired as Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator, to the same position according to ESPN.com’s Adam Schefter.
Ryan was fired by the Cowboys back on Jan. 8 and has been brought up in coaching discussions around the league since.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones later said he was making drastic changes after “America’s Team” went a dismal 8-8 this past season.
In an interview with ESPN Radio’s Mike and Mike in the Morning, Ryan talked about being fired from the Cowboys saying, ”I’ll be out of work for like five minutes.”
It took a little longer than that, but now it appears that at the very least Ryan is employed again.

Nick Eatman of DallasCowboys.com doesn’t expect to see the Cowboys re-sign soon-to-be free agent DE/OLB Anthony Spencer this offseason.
“Personally, I don’t think the Cowboys will keep Spencer next year because I think he’s going to test the market first and there will be some big-time money out there for him,” Eatman writes. “Surely the Cowboys want him back and I bet...
Former Dallas Cowboys great Emmitt Smith told the Dallas Morning News that he doesn’t believe it’s fair for people to criticize quarterback Tony Romo.
I don’t think any of it is really fair, especially Tony Romo. Tony Romo is playing behind an offensive line that is not that good. They’re not that good. This kid is running for his life. How can a quarterback get into a nice...
Emmitt Smith is an all time Dallas Cowboys great and has the pulse of everything Dallas. Smith was a guest on 105.3 KRLD-FM, and was asked about the criticism Cowboys starter Tony Romo gets.
Smith as honest as could be, said the criticism of Romo is unfair, and added Romo runs for his life.
I don’t think any of it is really fair, especially Tony Romo. Tony Romo is playing...
Deer Antler Spray was a big topic during the Super Bowl, but it doesn't compare to what the Dallas Cowboys of the 1990s were horsing around with, according to one former player.
Tony Casillas, a defensive tackle on two of the Cowboys' Super Bowl teams, told radio station KRLD-FM 105.3 the players in his day used a liniment intended for horses.
"When I heard about Deer...
ATHENS - Todd Grantham was contacted by the New Orleans Saints, he told Greg McGarity Wednesday night.
In the wake of the Super Bowl revelation that Ray Lewis allegedly used a banned substance containing deer antler spray, former Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman says that’s nothing.
During an interview on 105.3 The Fan, Casillas admitted that his Cowboys teams used similar forms of animal substances for treatment in the locker room per Pro Football Talk.

Kentucky's first national signing day under new head coach Mark Stoops was highlighted by the 11th-hour addition of four-star Louisville Trinity defensive end Jason Hatcher.
For at least the majority of the second half of the season I don't think I heard the Bounty-Gate scandal mentioned too often. Of course during the playoffs it wasn't since the Saints didn't even make the playoffs.
Now it did creep back into the spotlight in the week prior to the Super Bowl that saw Roger Goodell come to a city--New Orleans-- that had every reason to...
If the Dallas Cowboys were playing in the Super Bowl LeBron James would be willing to jeopardize missing one of his games to watch it.
That's what the Miami Heat superstar and Cowboys fan said last week when he discussed having to possibly miss all of this year's Super Bowl because of his NBA schedule.
"If the Cowboys were in the Super Bowl, I'd stay there for...
Hot News for QB Tony Romo
Lolo Jones just doing what she has to to stay relevant. For the record, I had to Google what a ‘Beignet‘ is…. I still don’t know what a Beignet is, but it sounds delicious. I hate myself for finding Lolo Jones attractive. Shockey is a tool. DeMarcus is a beast man. Love that dude.
Per Adam Schefter’s twitter account the Saints plan to hire Rob Ryan:
Let’s just hope for his sake he’s not let go in five minutes.
