New York Giants defensive end Avery Moss has been having some issues with his social media accounts over the last several days, and those issues appeared to come to a head on Monday.
ESPN’s Jordan Raanan reports that NFL security had to assist Moss in having some explicit videos and photos of himself removed from his Twitter account on Monday. Some of his other accounts including email and Venmo were also compromised, and Moss tweeted last week that his Instagram account had been hacked.
Since my Instagram got hacked guess I gotta learn how to use Twitter now

Nude photos of Moss first appeared on his Twitter timeline not long after the Giants finished their OTA practice on Monday. Whoever was responsible for the hack blocked all of the accounts Moss had followed, which Raanan notes was likely an attempt to slow how quickly the content was discovered. The tweets were live for approximately 30 minutes before NFL security intervened.
Moss is entering his second NFL season. He briefly played at Nebraska before leaving the school following a public indecency charge in 2012. He was selected in the fifth round of last year’s draft despite the off-field issues and played in 14 games as a rookie. We have seen some embarrassing social media hacks leading up to the NFL Draft, but it’s unclear what the motive was in Moss’ case.
