Pro Sports Daily:
If Chad Ochocinco could get his wish, he reportedly would continue his NFL career with the Miami Dolphins. After the wide receiver was waived this past week by the New England Patriots, he’s in the market for a new employer and the south Florida native is hoping that could be the Dolphins, souces told CBSSports.com. Ochocinco indicated via Twitter on Friday that there’s interest in him from NFL teams, but none of those clubs have stepped forward so far. Because of his failure to grasp the Patriots’ complex offense, the expectations for his contributions on the field could be minimal. But he could bring a veteran presence and buzz to the rebuilding Dolphins. Meanwhile, as Ochocinco waits for a call, he continues to work out. On Saturday, he was getting together for a two-hour session with former teammate Terrell Owens.

Despite numerous rumors floating around the internet today, Chad Ochocinco has not been cut by the New England Patriots. The Chad Ochocinco era in New England has come to a disappointing and anti-climactic close on Thursday. The experiment was one with high hopes of success and the expectation of finally providing Tom Brady with the deep threat he's lacked since Randy Moss' departure during the 2010 season. The pairing was supposed to supply the Patriots with at least 50 receptions, close to...

Schefter then reported that after the Pats got no offers in a trade for Ochocinco, they released [...]

As this piece is published, the Bengals do not have a clear cut favorite to become the number two receiver yet.
