ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Packers and Steelers have both shown interest in free agent RB Ahmad Bradshaw. Since being released by the Giants, there has been very little buzz surrounding Bradshaw. He’s coming off of multiple foot surgeries, so there’s a good chance that this has impacted the level of interest thus far. Bradshaw is still only 26-years-old and has been pretty effective when healthy. Green Bay has over $18 million in cap space to work with and could clearly use some additional help at running back. They were reportedly interested in Steven Jackson before he signed with the Falcons, so we’ll have to see what their level of interest is in Bradshaw. Pittsburgh has also been linked to some of the free agent running backs, but unlike the Packers, they have limited cap room to pursue free agents. It’s doubtful that Bradshaw would require much in terms of salary, so there’s a chance they could work something out. We have him listed as the No. 20 best available player in our recently updated Top 50 Free Agents list.
