According to Tom Pelissero of 1500ESPNRadio.com, Minnesota Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier and wide receiver Percy Harvin got into a heated argument likely regarding Harvin’s injury that landed him on injured reserve. According to four NFL sources, Harvin and Frazier had another heated exchange weeks later in front of some players and staff members, fueling speculation about a deteriorating relationship that could spell the end of Harvin’s four seasons in Minnesota. Details of that altercation remain clouded, though it is believed to have begun in the training room at the Vikings’ facility. There’s no question Harvin was frustrated with the ankle not coming around. The incident was sufficiently impassioned some inside and outside the building believed that, and not the ankle, was the driving force behind Harvin’s trip to IR. In reality, according to a source with knowledge of the situation, discussions already were underway with Harvin’s agent, Joel Segal, about making a decision ...

Records Were Made to Be Broken

With two weeks left in the regular season, the race for MVP has been whittled down to a two-man contest, Peyton Manning and Adrian Peterson. While arguments can also be made for Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers and J.J. Watt, the reality is that Manning and Peterson both overcame impossible, insurmountable odds. And both performed at a level that exceeded all expectations. Manning, as...

Jared Allen: Sexy As Hell in Tight Santa Pants

The early Christmas presents keep on coming for the ladies this year, especially if you're a Minnesota Vikings fan. Most recently, Jared Allen dressed as Santa Claus to attend a players' Christmas party. The difference between this outfit and the Santa outfit John Sullivan worse earlier this week is that this one is TIGHT. And I don't just mean across his chest, but,...

Big Foot Found Dressed as Packer Fan, Photobombing Vikings Fan Picture

After decades of searching, which has included wives' tales, shaky video camera footage, tall tales, and television shows, the elusive Big Foot has finally been captured to film. And to no one's surprise, this monstrosity of a mammal, this hideous beast, this frightening bogeyman, is naturally a Packers fan. At the recent Vikings and Packers game at Lambeau Field...

Christian Ponder and Samantha Steele have already gotten married

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder and ESPN sideline reporter Samantha Steele are married. Yes, already. According to the Leader-Telegram, Ponder and Steele were married on Monday afternoon in a courtroom in Wisconsin. St. Croix County Court Commissioner Stephen Dunlap did the honors. Let’s track this thing. In mid-October, Ponder confirmed the rumors that were circulating...

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. As he nears the NFL's single-season rushing record, Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is everywhere these days, from magazines, newspapers and radio to TV talk shows and highlight shows. Peterson top NFC vote-getter for Pro Bowl

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. Adrian Peterson's remarkable season in his return from knee surgery has led him to being the top vote-getter among all NFC players in fan balloting for the Pro Bowl. Vikings' key versus Texans is slowing Watt

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. How uptight are the Minnesota Vikings with the playoffs on the line over the season's final two weeks? So uptight that they staged a dance-off between defensive linemen Fred Evans and Everson Griffen recently. Minnesota is focused on trying to win its third road game of the season Sunday when it travels to 12-2 Houston before the season finale at home against...

Purple People Apparel, Holiday Edition: Ruin Christmas with These Vikings Gifts

It's almost Christmas time, and if you haven't wasted your money on the Minnesota Vikings fan in your life by purchasing crappy Vikings shirts from the Purple Jesus Diaries' Merchandise Shop, then you're clearly doing it wrong. If you bought one of ours I can guarantee you that it will make an adult human male giggle and prance like a youngling opening up a GI Joe...

Make no mistake: Peterson wants what Dickerson has

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. In the NFL, some milestones and records mean more than others. Whether it's Tom Brady's 50 passing touchdowns in 2007 or Brett Favre's 297 consecutive starts, a few numbers simply captivate football fans. Last year, 5,000 passing yards was the milestone of the moment, but three players getting there in the same season knocked off the shine. One hundred...
