(Photo: Melina Vastola, USA TODAY Sports) NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass.--  According to a report from Kevin Manahan of USA Today Sports, Massachusetts State Police conducted a search through a pond and  heavily wooded areas near the home of New England Patriots  tight end Aaron Hernandez and found “no evidence “  at  the scene as the murder probe surrounding the tight end enters its second week.   The search was stopped after an hour. Six investigators arrived at about 10:15 a.m. ET, at which point two of them dressed into wetsuits, while others carried metal detectors and searched a pond on Homeward Lane. According to the report, the search took 20 minutes, spanning an area 100 yards long and 30 feet away from the road. The search yielded no evidence.
