Ed Werder of ESPN.com reports that LB Ray Lewis is expected to return to practice Wednesday.
Lewis suffered a triceps tear a few weeks ago and was subsequently placed on injured reserve with a designation. There were some reports last week that mentioned that he could be back in time to play against the Broncos in Week 15, so this news seems to suggest that it’s still a possibility.
Terrell Suggs suffered a biceps injury, so the Ravens could certainly use some additional help on the defensive side of the ball. We’ll have more tomorrow regarding Lewis’ status for the coming weeks.
