Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis' triceps injury is on the mend, but he's going to need at least another week before he sees any action, according to both ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Sal Paolantonio.
The deadline to activate him is 4pm Saturday, and the team isn't waiting up until the very last minute to make their decision.
Lewis has been out since week 6 and was placed on the short-term injured reserve list, where he'll stay for at least one more week.
A wise and safe move to keep Lewis out, who they of course, would rather not risk his health any further.
As it stands now, the team will have another week to make a call on Lewis before their game with the Giants.
