Found December 27, 2012 on Pro Football Zone:
According to Joe Person of the Charlotte Observer, Michael Lombardi of the NFL Network was on Inside the NFL and stated that  Panthers head coach Ron Rivera, Chargers head coach Norv Turner and Eagles head coach Andy Reid  will all be fired at the end of the season. Michael Lombardi said on ‘Inside the NFL’ he thinks Ron Rivera, along w/ Andy Reid and Norv Turner, ‘certainly’ will be gone on Monday. — Joe Person (@josephperson) December 27, 2012 It’s fairly obvious that Reid and Turner will be fired, but it’s a bit of a surprise that Rivera will be let go as well since this is only his second season.  But since the Panthers will be hiring a new general manager in the offseason, Rivera’s job certainly isn’t safe.   Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; script.src = 'http://widget.crowdignite.com/widgets/27484?_ci_wid=_CI_widget_'+_CI.counter; script.async = true; ref.parentNode.insertBefore(script, ref); })(); sr_adspace_id = 1000005525107; sr_adspace_width = 300; sr_adspace_height = 250; sr_ad_new_window = true; sr_adspace_type = "graphic";

Maybe Andy Reid isn't going anywhere

Andy Reid has been fired by nearly everyone except the man in charge. It's a foregone conclusion in Philadelphia and around the NFL that Reid will coach his last game with the Eagles on Sunday at the New York Giants. Fans already have a wish list for a new coach and the media has speculated for months about Reid's successor. But owner Jeffrey Lurie has said nothing. Lurie...

NFL Rumors: Andy Reid to coach the Arizona Cardinals in 2013?

It is only the matter of a few more days before the expected firing of head coach Andy Reid from the Philadelphia Eagles. Reid is currently the longest tenured head coach in the NFL, a streak which will end in about 72 hours or so. Reid will land a job with any team he wants after his release. He’s a good coach but a change is needed in Philadelphia where the organization needs...

Philadelphia Eagles Week 17: Several Things Fans Can Still Root For

The party is almost over for the 2012 incarnation of the Philadelphia Eagles and major changes are on the horizon.  Though some folks might be glad to just get this sad season over with and don’t really care what happens this Sunday, there are still angles to root for this week. Which of these sounds most like you? #1. Michael Vick gets one last chance to start. After a spectacular...

As if we needed another reason to hate the Eagles

There is nothing likable about the Philadelphia Eagles. Well, except maybe Andy Reid. I mean, the guy is a walking talking walrus who seems to be a pretty decent dude. But he is about to make an exit stage left, and that means there really isn’t a darn thing to like about that organization. They [...]

Jets Targeting Norv Turner & Cam Cameron As Their Next OC?

Rich Cimini of ESPN New York reports that the Jets have interest in both Chargers current head coach Norv Turner and former Ravens OC Cam Cameron as potential replacements for offensive coordinator Tony Sparano. Turner figures to be fired on Monday and even admitted that he intends to continue coaching next season. As for Cameron, he’s already available after Baltimore surprisingly...

Raiders-Chargers Preview

While the San Diego Chargers kicked off their season with a win over the AFC West rival Oakland Raiders, it's been a turbulent ride since. The Norv Turner era could be coming to an end as a result. In what is expected to be Turner's last game as coach, San Diego tries to go out on a strong note Sunday against an Oakland team still deciding who to start in place of the injured...

Was The Absence Of Joe Banner The Reason For The Improved Eagles Draft?

Categories: BREAKING NEWS Eagles Front Office NewsTags: Brandon GrahamDanny WatkinsFletcher CoxJoe BannerAccording to a person close to the Eagles, there’s a big difference between the Eagles brain trust which orchestrated the Birds 2012 draft, as compared to the group which navigated the 2010 and 2011 draft.  Yes, Andy Reid was the Eagles head coach during all of those drafts...

Blackout lifted for Raiders-Chargers season-finale

The San Diego Chargers say they have sold enough tickets to lift the local blackout for Sunday's season-finale against the rival Oakland Raiders. The sellout snaps a string of three straight blackouts for the Chargers, who will miss the playoffs for the third straight season. Overall, the Chargers had four games blacked out this year. The sellout is likely due to interest by...

Andy wants Vick to start final game vs. Giants...and Jimmy Kempski breaks down a breakdown...

I don't get it, but I guess Andy Reid has a logical reason to want Mike Vick as his QB#1 in a "meaningless" final game of the 2012 season on the road against the Giants. New York (8-7) is still alive in the playoff mathematics, but only by the slimmest of algebraic margins. Meanwhile, this is the ultimate U-Haul game for the Birds.      ...

Always Be Covering: Wasted Season

Last Week: 3-2-1 Overall: 49-44-3 Well not a total waste, hopefully. We’ve had some fun, and won a few more than we lost. Plus, there’s always Top Chef and the Playoffs. All of the AFC playoff teams are set, all that’s left to figure out is who plays who, and by how much the Chiefs will lose. The NFC is a lot more interesting, but if I think about the NFC East situation for...
