GREEN BAY, Wis. After 14 seasons in the NFL, Packers center Jeff Saturday reportedly is calling it a career. Saturday will play one more game, however, when he takes part in this weekend's Pro Bowl. Following the game, Saturday plans to officially retire. "We'll finish it with sunsets in Hawaii and call it a much better career than I would have anticipated," Saturday said Friday on 1070 The Fan in Indianapolis. Saturday went undrafted in 1998 and spent two months with the Baltimore Ravens that year before being released. A season later, Saturday latched on with the Indianapolis Colts and turned himself into a six-time Pro Bowl selection, a two-time first-team All Pro and a one-time Super Bowl champion. After 13 years in Indianapolis, Saturday signed last offseason with the Packers. He started the first 14 games of the regular season before coach Mike McCarthy benched him in favor of 26-year-old Evan Dietrich-Smith. Despite his demotion and a clear decline in his on-field performance, Saturday was voted into the Pro Bowl this season. Follow Paul Imig on Twitter.
