Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Saturday night in Oakland, according to a sheriff's spokesman, the Bay Area News Group reported Monday. Lynch, 26, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol and was taken to Santa Rita Jail, where he was cited and released, Alameda County Sheriff spokesman Sgt. Raymond Kelly told the newspaper. Lynch had been suspended for three games in 2009 for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy. That resulted because he pleaded guilty in March 2009 to a misdemeanor gun charge in Los Angeles. In February 2009, police found a semiautomatic handgun in a backpack in the trunk of car Lynch was sitting in. Police also found four marijuana cigarettes in the car, although no drug charges were filed. In 2008, Lynch pleaded guilty to a traffic violation following a hit-and run-accident in Buffalo.
