According to Danny O’Neil of the Seattle Times, the Seattle Seahawks plan on releasing veteran cornerback Marcus Trufant.
Trufant played in only four games in 2011 after suffering a back injury.
Trufant’s scheduled to make over $4 million in 2012, which is way to much for an aging veteran with back problems.
The Seahawks are expected to make an official announcement at some point today.
