Yesterday it was reported that Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs was forced to hand all of his firearms to the police because of a domestic dispute with his girl friend. According to WBAL-TV in Baltimore, Suggs was forced to surrender a total of nine weapons after his girl friend placed a restraining order on him. Suggs had the weapons delivered to Ravens Training Camp, where authorities safely collected a .45-caliber pistol, a 9 mm pistol, a .454 Casull revolver, a Bushmaster rifle, two Defender 2000 rifles known as AR-15 rifles and three shotguns. This marks the second time in three years that Suggs was named in a domestic violence complaint, and by the same person — the mother of his two children, the WBAL-TV 11 News I-Team confirmed. According to a source who has seen the temporary protective order, Suggs and his ex-fiancee, Candace Williams, got into a fight in early September in which, she claims, “he jumped into the car and began punching my neck and threw me out of the car. I tried to grab my purse and phone, but he started driving away with our children in the car. My hand was stuck in the seat belt and he dragged me at a high rate of speed. I freed myself and fell in the road. He came back and picked me up and drove home.” Williams claimed that she couldn’t walk because she suffered a road rash on her legs and feet. Friends stayed with her for two weeks. She said in the complaint, “I left home with our children and I am afraid that he will come after me and beat me and take the children.” This is really sad.  I really hope Suggs’ girl friend is accusing him of something that he didn’t do, because I don’t care to see any more football players in this negative light.   Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; script.src = 'http://widget.crowdignite.com/widgets/27484?_ci_wid=_CI_widget_'+_CI.counter; script.async = true; ref.parentNode.insertBefore(script, ref); })(); sr_adspace_id = 1000005525107; sr_adspace_width = 300; sr_adspace_height = 250; sr_ad_new_window = true; sr_adspace_type = "graphic";
