One of the NFL's best teams may have lost one of its best defensive players for the season. Houston Texans linebacker Brian Cushing went down on Monday night with what appeared to be a pretty serious leg of injury. It's starting to sound like the team's and fans' biggest nightmares may be realized in relation to the injury. ProFootballTalk.com reports that the Texans fear that Cushing has indeed tore his ACL. They will know for sure once Cushing undergoes an MRI on Tuesday, and if it is indeed a torn ACL, the linebacker will likely be done for the season. The Houston Chronicle's John McClain tweeted early Tuesday morning that it appeared that Cushing had indeed torn his ACL and would be out for the season. What a tough break for Brian Cushing.
