Pro Sports Daily:
New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw underwent a different treatment in hopes of healing the stress fracture in his foot that plagued him last season.
The New York Daily News, citing a source, reported that Bradshaw received a shot of Mini IGNITE rather than surgery.
According to the newspaper, a paste used when screws are inserted into a bone was injected in Bradshaw's foot to promote healing.
Bradshaw missed four games earlier in the season with a broken bone in his foot, including a 24-20 win at the New England Patriots.
He rushed for only 659 yards during the regular season after amassing 1,235 yards in 2010.

The New York Giants have re-signed backup quarterback David Carr.
The Giants officially announced the signing Thursday, a week after the two sides reached a contract agreement.
Carr did not throw a regular-season pass in the team's 2011 championship season, but he gives the Giants a proven veteran who could step in if two-time Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning is injured.

Being a Giants fan is pretty great these days. As usual all is quiet over at the Timex Center, just the way we like it. Of course you’ll have your usual suspects (that buddy of yours who thinks that they can do a better job then the GM) who will complain about Reese’s lack of activity, because that is what they do.
Oh yeah… and they won their fourth Super Bowl.
