PLAYERS: Victor Cruz
TEAMS: New York Giants

It appears as if Victor Cruz is ready to bet on himself for the upcoming NFL season, and take a shot at unrestricted free agency after the 2013 season. According to a report Friday morning, Cruz is planning to sign the 1st-round tender the New York Giants placed on him, and make $2.879. That will be more than a $2 million raise than he made the previous season, but well below the amount he hoped to be making as he was attempting to land a new deal from the organization.

  • It's about damn time, now they need to get the long term deal hammered out and keep this guy in Giants Blue for a long time.

I believe Cruz signed his RFA...

Biggest questions for the New York Giants to answer in 2013

The New York Giants 2013 season will be a big transitional year for the franchise, because of a lot of unknowns to sort themselves out at various positions. The first unknown is of course the wide receiver position. Victor Cruz has yet to sign an extension and if he doesn’t sign before the season begins, will put a lot of pressure on the Giants’ front office, because of Hakeem...
