According to ESPN’s John Clayton, there’s “virtually no chance” that Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe will be traded before Thursday’s 4PM NFL trade deadline. It doesn’t make sense for any NFL team to trade for Bowe when they don’t know if he’ll re-sign with them after the season.  He can’t sign a new deal until the regular season is over, since he’s currently under the franchise tag.   var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; script.src = 'http://widget.crowdignite.com/widgets/27484?_ci_wid=_CI_widget_'+_CI.counter; script.async = true; ref.parentNode.insertBefore(script, ref); })();

Crennel stupefied by Charles' usage

The Chiefs coach doesn't call the plays on offense in KC so, like fans, he also doesn't get why they only handed the ball to their best weapon five times during Sunday's loss.

Chiefs' expected dream year falters

Every Wednesday until the Super Bowl, Brian Billick will write a weekly column looking in-depth at different aspects of the modern NFL and will discuss experiences and insights he gained while coaching and broadcasting. Chiefs hoping to get Devon Wylie back this week from injury

Chiefs rookie WR Devon Wylie (hamstring) has resumed practicing on a full-time basis.Bothered by the injury since the season opener, Wylie has yet to play an offensive snap this year. Wylie looked very good in preseason, and will probably be in line for some...

Chiefs going back to Cassel at QB

Matt Cassel is getting another chance to be the Chiefs' starting quarterback. Cassel will start Thursday night's game at San Diego because Brady Quinn has not been cleared to practice due to a concussion, regaining the starting job - at least for one week - that he lost after a dismal five-game stretch to start the season. The Future Starts Now

The Kansas City Chiefs are bad.  Let’s get that out of the way first.  This team has not had a lead in regulation once all season.  The only lead the Chiefs had was when they kicked the field goal to beat the New Orleans Saints.  Instead of dwelling on how terrible this team is, it is time to look to the future.  With any future in the NFL that means what are we going to do...
