Gregg Williams has an eye on being reinstated by the NFL. Williams, who has been suspended indefinitely by the league for his role in the New Orleans Saints' bounty program, has been in contact with NFL officials to seek framework for a path so that he can apply for reinstatement, NFL.com reported. Although now the St. Louis Rams' defensive coordinator, Williams took an active role in the Saints' three-year bounty program. The program provided financial benefits for hits that resulted in opponents being carted off the field or knocked out of games. 49ers Baalke still considers Gregg Williams friend

San Francisco general manager Trent Baalke recently reached out to former New Orleans defensive coordinator Gregg Williams regarding the Saints' targeting of 49ers players in their bounty program. Apparently, no hard feelings on Baalke's part. They worked together during the 2004 season in Washington and Baalke still considers Williams ''a friend.'' Baalke...

Minus Williams, the Rams do defense by committee

The St. Louis Rams have opened their two-day minicamp doing defense by committee. The team is without Gregg Williams, the team's defensive coordinator who has been suspended indefinitely by the NFL for his role in the bounties program during his time with the New Orleans Saints. Coach Jeff Fisher said the remaining staff has been efficient picking up the slack for Williams...

Minnesota Vikings DE, Jared Allen, “Shocked” by the Gregg Williams Audio Clip

Minnesota Vikings defensive end/crazy person, Jared Allen, says he was shocked by the Gregg Williams audio clip that was released a few weeks ago. You know, the one where Williams, then defensive coordinator for the New Orleans Saints, talked to his players about “killing the ******* head,” taking out knees and giving concussions to players, by name. Here’s the clip (NSFW)...

Saints Nation: Saints Are in Limbo Due to Player Suspensions

It's bad enough that Roger Goodell levied an extremely harsh sentence on Sean Payton, but the waiting game on player suspensions makes it even worse. We already know Goodell is going to punish the team even more by laying down players suspensions, but it's the delay of that inevitability that is starting to cause even more problems. If, God forbid, these suspensions get announced...

Saints Nation: Saints' 2012 Schedule

The schedule is finally out and I have to say, overall, it's not bad. I have the whole schedule listed on the right side of the site to check out. The Saints have 4 prime time games: 2 Sunday night games, 1 Monday night game, and one Thursday game. As expected, the Falcons rivalry got a primetime slot and that will be the game in Atlanta on Thursday 11/29. The Sunday night games...

Bring on the 2012 NFL Draft….PLEASE!

Thank you NFL Draft, for restoring normalcy to a wickedly insane offseason. The playoffs were a downright bummer for this Saints fan. The Super Bowl was whack. Then came that ***** of a snitch, bounty drama, and the exile of Sean Payton. And of course, the Saints have yet to freaking sign Drew Brees. So needless to say, this chick could use the distraction that the draft tends...

Q&A with filmmaker Sean Pamphilon

Sean Pamphilon had been best known to the sports world as the producer, director and narrator of a documentary film featuring running back Ricky Williams. That was before his release earlier this month of the chilling audio of former New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams' rant before last season's playoff game against the San Francisco 49ers. Some have...
