New York Sports-Kings:
According to a report from the New York Post, the Jets were interested in current 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh before ultimately singing current head coach Rex Ryan in the 2009 off-season.
This doesnât come as much of a shock, as Harbaugh was a coveted commodity at Stanford. According to the Post the Jets Flew to Arizona to interview a potential coaching candidate then âsecretlyâ flying to California to interview Harbaugh. Harbaugh would later take himself out of the running for the Jetsâ head coaching vacancy which resulted in the Jets eventually hiring Rex Ryan as their coach.
What started out as a strong head coaching filling for the Jets has since gone sour. Ryan took the Jets to the AFC Champion his first two seasons as head coach, but has won 14 games the previous two season, missing out on the playoffs both season. Ryan will have to turn it around in 2013 if he wants to be employed by the Jets.

On a third down play late in the fourth quarter, the Atlanta Falcons seemingly completed a pass to move the chains. The ball seemed to touch the ground, and it was challenged by Jim Harbaugh. The call was upheld, and Harbaugh treated us to one of the best reactions to a call in recent memory. The 49ers eventually forced the Falcons to turn the ball over on downs, and the 49ers...
NFL = NO FUN LEAGUE
A man who paid over $1,000 last year to file trademarks for the phrases "Harbowl" and "Harbaugh Bowl" claims he was pressured by the NFL to not do it.

Ryan was issued a warning and no citation, a team spokesman says Tuesday. No one in the other two cars was injured in the accident that occurred in Bethlehem, Pa., located about 45 minutes from the team's facility in Florham Park, N.J.
Ryan is in Mobile, Ala...
Greatest NFL coincidence of all time? Ray Lewis will be playing his last game pitted against the man who he got his first career sack offâ49ers coach Jim Harbaugh.
17 years ago, back when Reverend Ray was still just  in proverbial Sunday school, he got his first career sack off 33-year-old Colts Quarterback Jim Harbaugh. NFL.com dug up the almost too awesome to believe stat...
Rex Ryan and Woody Johnson have a number of options to replace Mark Sanchez who makes $8.25 million in 2013. Thereâs no guarantee for Sanchez to be the starter and new offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg must be looking at a number of replacements. The real problem for the Jets is the $20 million they are over the cap limit, per Brian Costello from the New York Post. While replacing...
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- It is going to be a Harbaugh vs. Harbaugh Super Bowl. Hours after Jim Harbaugh directed the San Francisco 49ers into the NFL's title game, his brother John's Baltimore Ravens upset the New England Patriots with a second-half rally that produced a 28-13 win Sunday in the AFC Championship Game. The coaching brothers and their teams will square off in...
Dennis Allen filled another vacancy in his coaching staff on Wednesday after he hired Tony Sparano to be his offensive line coach and assistant head coach.
In 2012, Sparano was the offensive coordinator for the Jets but was sacrificed by Rex Ryan as the fall guy for their comically atrocious offense and season.
Before his lone year in New York, Sparano, who has 30 years of coaching...

Once the Baltimore Ravens knocked off the Denver Broncos and the possibility of a Peyton Manning versus Tom Brady AFC Championship was eliminated, the next best option for the Super Bowl immediately became a Baltimore-San Francisco match-up. In the AFC Championships second half Joe Flacco looked very Tom Brady-esque. Anquan Boldin shed years off his [...]
