Pro Sports Daily:
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kevin Kolb is unlikely to play in Sunday's game against his former team.
Both ESPN's Adam Schefter and NFL.com's Jason LaCanfora detailed on Tuesday that Kolb will likely miss this weekend's game versus the Philadelphia Eagles due to his turf toe injury.
Kolb was hurt in the early stages of last week's 30-27 loss to the Baltimore Ravens but remained in the game. He took a season-high six sacks in the club's sixth straight defeat.
Acquired in the offseason from the Eagles, Kolb has passed for 1,706 yards and eight touchdowns and eight interceptions this season.
Second-year pro John Skelton completed 20 of 35 passes for 222 yards - with a 13-yard touchdown pass to Larry Fitzerald - as the Cardinals rallied for a 19-13 overtime win over the NFC West rival St. Louis Rams.
