No wins for the Iggles this week: Pomeroy gives them a 0% chance of winning on the road against either Michigan or Miami.

The Highlanders have lost 45 games in a row. Magic number fifty could come on January 14 at Loyola of Maryland, barring a win in the meantime.
336 (LW: 331): Southern University (Southwestern Athletic, 0-10) – Saturday, 1/3 vs. Texas Southern
For the second week in a row, the Jags will host a Reverse Survivor contender. The last time didn’t go so well, a 71-43 drubbing at the hands of USC Upstate.
328 (LW: 328): Mississippi Valley State (Southwestern Athletic, 0-13) – Saturday, 1/3 @ Arkansas-Pine Bluff
It’s just a matter of time before the Delta Devils (awesome nickname) eliminate themselves from the RS chase: Pomeroy predicts that six of the next seven games will be decided by four points or less.
327 (LW: 320): Loyola Marymount (West Coast, 0-14) – Thursday, 1/1 @ Seattle; Sunday, 1/4 vs. Cal State Bakersfield
Thursday seems like the best chance for the Lions, with a Division II opponent on the horizon, but I’m willing to bet they come out of Seattle with a loss. Two reasons: one, it’s a road game, and two, Seattle is 3-4 against Division I competition this season (they also play Oregon State today). These guys are good.
323 (LW: 329): Houston Baptist (Independent, 0-12) – Monday, 12/29 vs. Wyoming; Tuesday, 12/30 @ Utah State; Wednesday, 12/31 vs. Howard
That game against Howard on Wednesday is one of three Pomeroy-predicted wins for the Huskies (I expected a much better nickname) this season (the other two are against NJIT). I wonder, however, if that accounts for the fact that it will be team’s third game in as many days.

Undoubtedly the Reverse Survivor Game of the Week, although Texas Southern fits the Mississippi Valley State mold as a school that isn’t long for this competition.
