The Buccaneers did not have a selection in the first round of the draft Thursday night but that did not stop the team from hosting their annual draft day party for the fans.  The party featured several Buccaneers players in attendance, including the introduction of the two major offseason acquisitions, Dashon Goldson and Darrelle Revis. Both received a warm welcome by the fans in attendance. Fans were excited, chanting “Revis, Revis” as they watched him interview with Buccaneers.com’s Rachel Ramirez. She asked him if he is excited about changing the Bucs worst pass defense in 2012 to one of the top ones in the league moving forward. It appears the Bucs secondary will have a nickname heading into the 2013 season according to Revis. We’re gonna change that. We’re gonna change the pass defense all around. We got some great guys back in the secondary. Mark Barron, Eric Wright, me and Dashon Goldson — it’s called the no fly zone. That’s what we’re calling it, the no fly zone. The Bucs were last in the league in 2012 as they allowed 4,758 yards. If the “No Fly Zone” lives up to Revis’ expectations, the only thing left is for the front seven (or four) to get after the quarterback and serve as air traffic controllers.
