The Washington Redskins like to run the read-option, but without Robert Griffin III under center for most of the offseason, the ‘Skins are limited to Kirk Cousins, who thinks he can manage it, Pat White and Rex Grossman, who told ESPN 980 that offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan laughed when he called read-option plays for him.

Check out this great photo. Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III received a nice warm hug from Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman. It happened during the after party for the Hollywood premiere of Freeman's new movie “Oblivion.”
There’s a lot going on here but we’ll focus on the obvious. So fans are really letting their favorite black quarterback (Robert Griffin III) hold one their twin girls like he’s part of the family?Man, winning changes everything.via @DragonflyJonezThe post This photo of Robert Griffin III and a fan can’t be real appeared first on No Guts, No Glory.
TMZ ended up tracking down Redskins’ quarterback Robert Griffin III and told him that he’ll be just as good in 2013 as he was this past season.
Griffin then responded by saying, ” I’ll be better.”
I love Griffin’s confidence, but he’s going to have to mentally overcome his second ACL injury and the fact that NFL defenses will have had an entire offseason to learn how...
Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins knows he has to be patient and wait to get a shot at being a starting NFL quarterback.
“Patience is the name of the game,” Cousins said Thursday on ESPN Radio’s Mike and Mike in the Morning, via NFL.com. “It’s a part of life. Things don’t happen as fast as we want them to. I was a backup at Michigan State for two years. That’s...
Robert Griffin III reportedly bought a painting of himself at a collector’s showcase over the weekend, which is whatever. The news, however, did prompt D.C. Sports Bog to compile a collection of paintings of RGIII. Most of them are about as amateurish as you’d expect from fan art about famous athletes, though artist Pierick Smith‘s piece with Griffin thrusting a ‘Skins flag...
The one reason I liked RG3 coming out of college, had nothing to do with his legs, it had to do with his accuracy. No matter how athletically gifted you are, you can’t succeed in the NFL, if you don’t have a good feel in the pocket and you aren’t accurate with your passes.
There is a lot of talk about the read option, but what people are forgetting, are the quarterbacks that...
Yesterday, we showed a painting of Robert Griffin III looking like a badass, so in the interest of fairness, here he is at his most inoffensive. No one show this to Rob Parker. He’ll just crow with validation at whatever outlet hired him after he got canned by ESPN.
Not sure why this photo looks like it was taken at a mall photography studio. Don’t worry, RGIII is your best black...
RG3 is a great player, but horrible dresser.
Morgan Freeman has on an OJ glove and hoop earring, there is too much going on in this photo.
RG3 and Freeman were at the moving opening for Freeman’s movie “Oblivion”.
One of the many cool things about being one of the most popular professional athletes on the planet (or at least in the NFL) has to be getting invited to movie premieres. You may have to dress up rather than go in sweats or your shorts like you normally would, but you get to see it first.
Eh--its a trade off.
You also get the chance to hang out and rub elbows with some of the...
Pierre Garcon knows just how good his young quarterback Robert Griffin III has the potential to be. After spending a a season catching passes from RG3, Garcon is all in on the potential superstar and shared his feelings with NFL AM. “(Griffin) can be just as good as Peyton,” Garcon told “NFL AM” on Thursday. [...]
Comparing a quarterback that has played for one season in the NFL to one of the best quarterbacks, statistically at least, of all time isn’t usually allowed around these parts. But since Pierre Garcon has played with both Robert Griffin III and Peyton Manning we’ll entertain this.Garcon made an appearance on NFL AM on the NFL Network Thursday and flat out told viewers that Robert...
