We at Down and Distance have discovered the reason behind Mark Sanchez not being benched until late in the season for the New York Jets! No, it isn’t Ancient Aliens nor the Mayans, but rather because Jets head coach Rex Ryan has a Tattoo of number six! Well, sort of.. Rex was spotted in the Bahamas Vacationing (While other non-playoff teams are getting their end of the year work in, might I add) and relaxing. A photo was taken via the New York Daily News that shows Rex has a bit of ink on his right arm. There are two tattoos, one being a shamrock with the names of his children, and the other being a tattoo of his wife, Michelle, wearing nothing but a green Mark Sanchez jersey. Mark Sanchez will forever be a part of Rex Ryan. (ANDREW THEODORAKIS/NEW YORK DAILY NEWS) Unfortunately for Tim Tebow, he was not inked anywhere on Rex’s body according to NYDN, so the rumors of him being an Ex-Jet are probably true. My parents always told me to never get a tattoo of someone on your body, because that’s when things turn the wrong way.
