Woody Johnson said that Rex Ryan would be involved in the process to find the next general manager, but according to NFL.com, Ryan has not been in the room during the first round of interviews, Conor Orr of the Newark Star-Ledger reports. Jets president Neil Glat, Johnson, the team's owner, and Jed Hughes, from the search firm Korn/Ferry, have been conducting the interviews, the report said. Ryan said that he will come in at the end of the search. Johnson, too, was never specific. His answer from last week: "(Rex) will be part of the process, yes." Source: The Redzone

New York Jets: Love the team, hate the organization

Being a fan of the New York Jets is no easy task. Along with many other die hard’s, I drag myself to MetLife Stadium and attempt to watch my team hopefully not embarrass itself. Some seasons are easier than others. This was not such a season. I have lived through many challenging seasons. There were several seasons during my childhood that we could not even give our tickets away...

No Huddle – New York Jets Continue To Drift With No Direction

It is late January and the Jets are lost in a fog with no direction in place for 2013 yet. Don’t fret folks we have been here plenty of times before. Let’s allow it to all play out, or at least wait for the ink on Rex Ryan’s other arm to dry first. Ryan’s next tattoo that includes a franchise player’s number, is where the ultimate answer lies. We all know that. So make...

Writing A Fan Letter To Jets Owner Woody Johnson

I am not a New York Jets fan but I can understand their pain. The Jets are becoming the laughing stock of the NFL. Jets Owner Woody Johnson seems to be okay with the circus-like atmosphere that has been created within the team. He retained the services of Rex Ryan at head coach in spite of the obvious decline the team has taken. I am sure this has Jets fans scratching their heads...

Could you imagine Darrell Revis, Santonio Holmes or Mark Sanchez wearing something like this? Featured are a number of New York Jets helmets and uniform designs. Some are interesting options that fans may like and others may strike a nerve with some fans. Images...

The 2012 season is over for the New York Jets, and now we look onto the potential 2013 New York Jets roster changes. The Jets will potentially let 23 players fly to other destinations this offseason and it should be interesting to see how Rex Ryan’s increased power this season will affect the roster. The three players the Jets need to make decisions on the most are Shonn Greene...

Should The New York Jets Move To A 4-3?

The New York Jets defense has gradually declined the past few seasons, mostly due to a lack of speed at linebacker and an inability to consistently pressure the quarterback. Heading into 2013, the team will see three former starters at linebacker leave for cap purposes and declined play (Bryan Thomas, Calvin Pace, Bart Scott), along with both starting safeties and a key defensive...

Ahmad Rashad’s Wife Fears Michael Jordan Is A Bad Influence on Him

Ahmad Rashad's friendship with Tiger Woods and Michael Jordan leading to divorce

Woody Johnson's wealthy ex-wife Sale Johnson and her new husband, former NFL star and sportscaster Ahmad Rashad, have apparently hit a rough spot in their marriage and a lot of the problem stems from him hanging around with his golf buddies Tiger Woods and Michael Jordan. The couple, who live in a swanky enclave of Jupiter, Fla., have been fighting over her immense $100 million...

The New York Jets are basically begging candidates to reconsider taking their open GM job

The New York Jets have interviewed a slew of individuals for their vacant GM position. But apparently, no one wants the job. We already know that candidates have been told that they are stuck with Rex Ryan for at least next season, but according to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports that isn’t the issue for some candidates. The issues that are making candidates apprehensive about the job...

Jets Having Trouble Finding New General Manager

The New York Jets organizational downfall in 2012 is still hilarious even though we have entered the off-season stage of it all. After the Jets fired Mike Tannenbaum, it was assumed that shortly after Rex Ryan returned from his vacation that there would already be a general manager in place, and the team would prepare for the 2013 season and the changes at hand. A funny thing has...
