NBC Dallas- Fort Worth:
In an interview with Al Michaels last week, Cowboys’ defensive coordinator Rob Ryan said that, when he got his chance as a head coach in the NFL, he would be better than his twin brother Rex--the head coach of the New York Jets, who’s taken his team to two consecutive AFC Championship games.
That was on Sunday. On Thursday, Rex Ryan finally responded to his brother’s claim, saying that he believes his brother will indeed be a good head coach someday--just not quite as good as him.
"Hopefully one day we get to find out. I hope he does get the opportunity to be a head coach. Rob is a great coach, and he certainly wants that opportunity, as every coach in this league wants that opportunity,” Rex Ryan said, per ESPN Dallas. “But you know what, at the end of the day, he's not going to be quite as good as his brother.
"I don't know, because all I'm doing is basing it on facts. When we were kids, my batting average was a little higher than his, okay. The only thi...

Cowboys Defensive Coordinator Rob Ryan Says 'I'm The Best At What I Do'
Rob Ryan is the best defensive coordinator in the NFL -- just ask him. A week after the Eagles embarrassed him and his defense, Ryan is talking again. Today's games: Bills face AFC East showdown with Jets
They are surrounded in the AFC East by the bluster of Rex Ryan and the Jets, the cool efficiency of the Patriots and the woeful, headed-for-Andrew Luck Dolphins, so it may be easy to forget what the Bills are up to these days.
An Off-Broadway Play
Since being hired by the Jets, Rex Ryan has been extremely confident at best and excessively boastful at worst. And because of this and despite his obvious talents as coach, when adversity inevitably occurs, the "Mouth That Roared" will be given little support and even less time to recover.

Three Things: Buffalo Bills
Its strange to write about the Jets heading to lovely Western New York trying to unseat the 1st place Bills. I don’t think words like that have been laid to paper in well over a decade. But nonetheless, the Jets head to Ralph Wilson stadium to try and take down the 5-2 Bills, while rooting for the cross-town Giants to hand the 5-2 Patriots their second loss in as many weeks. With...
Aaron Maybin: Rex Ryan saw something that Bills’ coaches didn’t
When Aaron Maybin returns to Buffalo on Sunday for the Jets to play the Bills, he probably can’t expect a warm reception. The Bills took Maybin 11th overall in 2009 and he was one of the NFL’s biggest draft busts of the last few years, getting released without ever recording a single sack. But Maybin…
