According to Chuck Carroll of CBS DC, Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III suffered an injury to his left knee during Sunday’s loss to the Broncos.
The good news is that it’s not his surgically repaired right knee.
The biggest concern for the Washington Redskins Sunday isn’t a 45-21 drubbing at the hands of the Denver Broncos. It is the health of Robert Griffin III who exited late in the fourth quarter after taking a hard shot from Terrance Knighton.
Griffin lay on the ground, writhing in pain and grabbing his left knee. The quarterback’s right knee has twice undergone reconstructive surgery for ACL tears.
He was attended to by the training staff on a sideline examination table and was able to hop off under his own power.
Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan believes Griffin is fine.
“I think he’s fine,” Mike Shanahan said after the game. “The doctors felt he could have went back in after that first play and decided to keep him out with the way the score was.”

Furthermore, the man ran the marathon while juggling three footballs.
Why? Who knows. But it does make for an interesting spectacle to say the least.

Start RGIII against the Broncos. Robert Griffin III seems to be returning to form. He is poised to repeat his second half performance from 2012. ESPN notes that RGIII is at 100% for the first time this year. The Broncos are the only team in the NFL who gives up over 350 yards per game to opposing QBs. This is mostly because teams who play Denver are playing from behind, but nonetheless...
The St. Louis Rams made a franchise changing choice shortly before the 2012 NFL draft. Sitting there with the second overall pick in the draft, they had the chance to draft Robert Griffin III. However, just two years earlier on that very same night, the Rams took Sam Bradford with the first overall pick.
So, the Rams were stuck. Do they draft RG3 and try and trade Bradford? Or do...
