Want to know how the Washington Redskins are pulling of one miraculous win after another that has one of the worst teams in the NFL last season on the cusp of a potential playoff spot? Robert Griffin III knows how...and he says the team needs to give their thanks to a higher power. "God's on our side," Griffin said Tuesday, according to The USA Today. Wait a second...I thought God was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys, you know, that's why they have the whole in the roof at Cowboys Stadium, right? There's no mistaking that someone, somewhere is a fan of RG3. The star rookie led the Redskins to a big win Monday night against the New York Giants. Case-in-point, the amazing fumbletouchdown that Griffin was a part of that gave the Redskins their first lead on Monday, when RG3 was hit from behind and fumbled the ball, only for it to end up in the hands of receiver Josh Morgan, who ran it in for a touchdown. If anyone knew about divine intervention, it would probably be a Heisman winning quarterback from a Baptist college such as Baylor University. The win Monday kept both the Redskins and the Cowboys in the hunt for the NFC East, with both team now only being one-game behind the defending Super Bowl champions.
