RGIII Nails It on The Tonight Show

Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III made an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night. He talked about President Obama, his military connections, and of course, his socks.

The Redskins haven’t cultivated a great image for themselves the past few seasons. Dan Snyder’s PR record is terrible. Management continues to fumble rebuilding efforts. (Although, they do get credit for getting RGII.) And the QB positions is one of the most volatile in the organization (33 different QB’s in the last 25 years).

However, the Redskins may have found a good star to hitch the organization’s wagon to. He seems to be a polite, mature young man who has a good sense of humor. (He even brought Hugh Laurie a present!)

As someone who has usually watched Raven’s games for the past few years, RGIII has got me stoked to watch some Redskins’ games this year.
