In a week the Vikings switched Joe Webb back to the quarterback position, placed Tarvaris Jackson on injured reserve, signed Patrick Ramsey, promoted R.J. Archer, and now it appears that they will continue to stock up on quarterback options.
According to multiple outlets, the Vikings are expected to sign quarterback Rherr Bomar off of the Giants practice squad today. He is on his way to Minnesota as we speak.
Bomar was a fifth round pick of the Giants in 2009 after sliding much further than expected in the Draft. While his preseason numbers are mediocre, Bomar has never seen regular season action.
