Fox Sports Florida:
DAVIE, Fla. (AP) -- Miami Dolphins cornerback Richard Marshall and reserve running back Daniel Thomas have been ruled out of Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams.
Marshall will miss his second consecutive game because of a back injury. Thomas suffered his second concussion of the season in last Sunday's win at Cincinnati.
Linebacker Kevin Burnett was limited in practice Friday and listed as questionable because of an ankle injury.
Running back Reggie Bush (knee), receiver Brian Hartline (quadriceps), cornerback Nolan Carroll (Achilles) and safety Reshad Jones (back and heel) were listed as probable. All participated fully in practice.
Carroll is expected to start for Marshall. Thomas' absence likely means more carries for rookie Lamar Miller.

The Miami Dolphins have been searching for the next Dan Marino since the golden armed one retired. For the first time, since the Dolphins drafted Marino in 1983, the Dolphins used their 1st round pick on a quarterback. When the Dolphins drafted Ryan Tannehill, most experts agreed that he would need time to develop into [...]
In the first three years of his young NFL career, Miami Dolphins cornerback Sean Smith performed well below the expectations that came when he was selected in the second round of the 2009 draft. The standout cornerback out of Utah put up mediocre numbers to say the least as he recorded 152 combined tackles and three interceptions while not being able to produce a single quarterback...
The Miami Dolphins signed Jabar Gaffney, in the hopes that he would step in and be the #3 wide receiver they’ve been trying to find since the first week of training camp. Last week, Gaffney warmed up before the Dolphins game against the Bengals, but the Dolphins coaches didn’t think he knew enough of the [...]
DAVIE, Fla. Brian Hartline and Sean Smith are joking back and forth in the locker room, which is a usual occurrence.
Hartline, a white Miami wide receiver, mentions an NFL position that hasnt had a lot of black players.
We got one," said Smith, a black Dolphins cornerback. (Justin) Medlock from UCLA. Hes good."
Carolina's Medlock is one of only four black field...
DAVIE, Fla. It has been 27 years since a white receiver led the NFL in receiving yards.
Could Miami's Brian Hartline be the next?
Through five games, Hartline tops the league in receiving yards with 514. If that holds up, he would be the first white player to lead the NFL in the category since Seattles Steve Largent in 1985.
However, with nearly half his yards (253) coming...
Dolphins Jason Taylor And Zach Thomas Enter ‘Ring Of Honor’ Together -
On Sunday, the Miami Dolphins will add two of the fiercest competitors in Dolphins franchise history, Zach Thomas and Jason Taylor, to their “Ring of Honor”. One year apart entering the league, the duo spent most of their NFL careers playing side by side with the Dolphins before moving on later in their...
DAVIE, Fla. (AP) -- Reggie Bush has joined the Miami Dolphins injury list with a sore knee. The team's leading rusher was added to the injury report after being limited in practice Thursday. Bush hurt his left knee Sept. 23 against the New York Jets but has started every game. The Dolphins (2-3) are already thin at running back going into Sunday's game against St. Louis...
Miami Dolphins running back Reggie Bush had his practice participation limited during Thursday's session because of a left knee sprain he's been nursing for a couple weeks. Bush, who leads the Dolphins with 417 rushing yards and three touchdowns, hurt his left knee during the Sept. 23 overtime loss to the New York Jets. He's started every game since, gaining 115 rushing...

The Miami Dolphins have a chance to even their record at 3-3 on Sunday, and keep pace (although it’s early) in both the AFC East and Wild Card races. The Dolphins have played better than most people expected before the year started. They’ve been rushing the ball effectively, getting solid play out of their rookie [...]
The St. Louis Rams come to town this week, and I noticed an interesting stat. The Rams play better at home than they do at away games. I guess we could say that about every team couldn't we? With the...

Miami running back Daniel Thomas is doubtful for Sunday's game against St. Louis dealing with a concussion.Fantasy Spin:Lamar Miller is the backup for Reggie Bush, who is also a little bit nicked up. The team hasn't been happy with Miller's "awareness" but they probalby have no choice but to use him in Week 6 for up to 10 carries.
Looking at the numbers, this doesn’t look good for the Rams. Since the end of the 2007 season, the Rams have won exactly five road games. Yes, this is a different team, but this new team is 0 and 2 on the road. The Rams need to be able to run the ball, or at least threaten the run to have offensive success. Turns out, Miami is the number one defense against the run in the...
