Nearly eight months after the infamous "Fail Mary" game, Richard Sherman has given a job to the person responsible for one of the NFL's all-time biggest gaffes.
Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times reports the Seahawks' Pro Bowl cornerback hired the then-replacement referee who gifted the Packers a victory last September to umpire his July 7 charity softball game.
The referee who's been bestowed with this honor is Lance Easley, the line judge who bizarrely signaled touchdown following M.D. Jennings' interception Tate's "reception."
The Facebook page for Sherman's event sums it up perfectly: "Don't be surprised if a few flags are thrown."
